He apparently left because a hair stylist he started to like was cut for financial reasons. Mandy, told them that he wouldn't continue on the show unless they hired her back as his personal hair stylist. When they went to bring her back, she demanded a large salary increase and the producers/bosses told her to just keep on walking! So Mandy said he is sticking with his ethics on ths one and will not come back unless she is rehired. this is what I read...I'm just trying to make sure that an actor so beloved by myself is not being mocked over reasons of possibly false financial accusations.
